We each have default patterns that, even when pointed out, we can be largely unaware of. How many of us have held up a mirror to our coachees only to find they don’t see what we see so clearly?
How do we get our coachees to see themselves more clearly? It starts by demonstrating the courage, vulnerability and curiosity to see what we may not want to see about ourselves.
In this dinner workshop, we’ll be exploring our own patterns and how they are showing up in our relationships (including our coaching relationships) in ways we don’t want to see. We’ll look at what’s hard to see in our coaching relationships and explore how our self awareness of our biases can enhance our coaching and coachee relationships.
Through deepening our understanding of ourselves and our own lens, we will spend the evening exploring:
- Concepts and materials that deepen our awareness of ourselves and how we show in relationship with others
- Tools for rewiring our default patterns to be more successful in conflict and in stress
- Techniques for dealing with homeostasis and discomfort as we begin to shift our default patterns
- Best practices and practices that pair will with the EQP in shifting default patterns
- Note: all explorations can be used in your coaching
